This section explains what cookies are, how Joyride may use them if they are introduced, and the choices and rights you will have. This Privacy Policy does not cover the use of cookies or similar technologies by third-party providers or third-party websites or services that you access via links from the Joyride Website.
What are cookies?
“Cookies” are small text files that a web server generates and sends to a web browser, which is stored on your devices, such as a computer or mobile device, to help websites and mobile apps remember things about you. For example, cookies allow the website to track your activities on the Joyride Website and other sites which helps the sites provide a more personalized experience, such as by generating content specifically tailored to you or remembering your preferences, including without limitation your language or log-in preferences. Other similar technologies, such as web beacons, gif tags, web storage, and identifiers, may be used for similar purposes. In this Privacy Policy, “cookies” refers to all of these technologies. Cookies set by the website owner (Joyride in the case of the Joyride Website) are called “first-party cookies” and cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called “third-party cookies”.

These cookies would also be used to enable you to share pages and other content that you find interesting on the Joyride Websites through third-party social networking and other sites. Joyride partners and other third-party service providers could use these cookies to draw inferences and deliver relevant advertising on other sites.
How can I control cookies?
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject non-essential cookies, and you do not have to accept cookies to use the Joyride Website. Because the Joyride Website does not currently use non-essential cookies, no cookie choices are currently required. If Joyride introduces non-essential cookies, Joyride will update this Privacy Policy and, where required by law, provide a consent mechanism (such as a banner on the Joyride Website) allowing you to accept or reject such cookies before they are placed. If third-party cookies are introduced, you may also need to visit the relevant third party’s website directly to manage them.
Browser Controls: You can change your browser settings to be notified when you receive a cookie or to reject cookies. If you choose to reject cookies, certain features or parts of the Joyride Website may not function properly or at all. As the way to exercise this right may vary from browser-to-browser, you should visit your browser’s help menu for more information. You should know that essential website cookies are strictly necessary to deliver the Joyride Website to you and you cannot refuse them. You can block or delete them by changing your browser settings however, as described above.
Interest Based Advertising: You may be able to opt out of interest-based advertising and can find more information here: http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or http://www.youronlinechoices.com. Please note this does not opt you out of being served advertising and you will continue to receive generic advertisements. You can also opt out of having certain mobile advertising identifiers used for certain interest-based advertising on your mobile device. For more information, see the Advertising section.
Do Not Track: The term “Do Not Track” refers to an HTTP header offered by certain web browsers to request that websites refrain from tracking the user. If Joyride introduces tracking technologies in the future, Joyride will disclose in this Privacy Policy how it responds to “Do Not Track” signals.
Additional Information

If Joyride adopts Google Analytics or a similar analytics service in the future, you can read “How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps” in Google’s privacy policy for information on how Google Analytics collects and processes data, and you may opt out by visiting: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
08Advertising
Joyride does not currently display advertisements on the Joyride Website or partner with third-party providers, such as ad networks, for advertising activities. If Joyride engages in advertising activities in the future, Joyride and such third-party providers may use cookies and other similar tracking technologies to provide you with targeted advertising based on your interests across your devices, and you will have the option to restrict the use of information for interest-based advertising and to opt out of receiving interest-based ads as described below.
To learn more about this type of advertising and how to opt out of this form of advertising, you may either visit optout.aboutads.info to opt out of sites and services participating in the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) self-regulatory program or visit optout.networkadvertising.org to opt out of this form of advertising by members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”). Note that electing to opt out will not stop advertisements from appearing in your browser or applications, although it may make the ads you see less relevant to your interests. This opt-out works through cookies set on a particular browser, so if you delete cookies from a web browser, or use a different browser, you will need to opt out again.
Your choice to opt out on a particular browser or device will apply only to the collection and use of information from that particular browser or device. Opting out on a particular device will not opt you out of information collection on other devices, nor will it limit cross-device sharing on those other devices. If you use different browsers on a device or multiple devices, for each browser and device you wish to opt out, please opt out each device and browser separately at optout.aboutads.info and at optout.networkadvertising.org.
09Session Replay and Heatmap Technologies

If Joyride introduces such technologies in the future, Joyride will update this Privacy Policy to identify the technologies used and the third parties involved before they are deployed.

The Joyride Website does not currently include a chatbot or similar automated self-service functionality. If Joyride adds a chatbot to the Joyride Website in the future, information you choose to provide to the chatbot may be collected and associated with your name or IP address, and a transcript of your interactions may be created and stored in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, and improve Joyride’s services, including by the chatbot provider on Joyride’s behalf. Third-Party Model Providers. Joyride’s AI Features are powered in part by foundation models developed by third-party providers, including Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google (“Model Providers”).
Hosted Model Deployments. Joyride accesses foundation models exclusively through dedicated hosted deployments within secured cloud environments (for example, models hosted through services such as AWS Bedrock Service), rather than through the Model Providers’ own services. Under this architecture, your Inputs and Outputs are processed by a hosted copy of the model operating within infrastructure controlled by Joyride and its cloud provider; they are not transmitted to or accessible by the Model Providers, are not retained by the Model Providers, and are not used to train or improve the Model Providers’ models.

Automated Decision-Making. Joyride’s AI Features are not used to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you without human involvement. Outputs are generated by statistical models and may contain errors; you should not rely on Outputs without independent verification.

Joyride has no control over and is not responsible for third-party websites, their privacy practices, their content, or any goods or services available through the Third-Party Sites, including embedded content. The Joyride Privacy Policy does not apply to Third-Party Sites; any information you provide to a Third-Party Site is subject to that Third-Party Site’s privacy policy.
The fact that Joyride links to a website is not an endorsement or representation of an affiliation with that website. You should carefully review the applicable privacy policies before using or engaging with any Third-Party Site on the Joyride Website.

CCPA Information does not include de-identified or publicly available information, as defined in the CCPA.
Joyride is covered under the CCPA as Joyride collects and processes the personal information of California residents. This Privacy Policy provides the required notices to California residents. The CCPA also prohibits covered businesses from providing discriminatory treatment to California residents if they exercise their rights under the CCPA.
If you are unable to access this Privacy Policy due to a disability or any physical or mental impairment, please contact us using the information in the Contact Details section and Joyride will use reasonable efforts to arrange to supply you with the information you need in an alternative format that you can access.
